• You can choose to program your original remote or use the BOSE remote! I have direct tv and my direct tv remote works great for everything on the BOSE system exert for menu settings on the BOSE system. For that you have to use the BOSE remote

• Hello Hercomserv. Great question. You should be able to control all of your devices with the Bose remote, including the Tivo box. We would recommend checking with Tivo to see if the Tivo remote can control the Bose system. Thanks!
