“Hi, So it says that it works with Amazon Alexa, so is Alexa part of the speaker or do we need to connect an Alexa device like dot or echo to it to make it work with Alexa? And if we need the Alexa device , how do we connect it with it , wireless or usb?”

Hello there, Thanks for asking, great question! The SoundTouch 20 works with Alexa commands but does require an Alexa-enabled device to be plugged via 3.5mm such as the Echo Dot. Hope that helps. Mohsin - Bose Support
