I connect my iPhone with it for music. Unsure about answering the other questions because I don’t have an Android. But, I assume if it works with my iPhone I assume it’ll work with an Android

Amazon Music is available as a SoundTouch Music Service and can be used via the Bose SoundTouch app. If you wish to use the Amazon Music app itself, you will need to connect the speaker to your mobile device via Bluetooth. When connected via Bluetooth, the speaker can absolutely be used as a speaker for your phone. However, it does not have a built-in microphone, and cannot be used as a speakerphone for phone calls. This does not have a mic, so cannot actually receive calls through the speaker. But if you are playing music on speaker, and there is a call, music will pause for the duration of call which you can attend on your phone. Once call ends, music resumes itself. Hope this helps.
