• It can be but according to Bose spokesperson it isn't recommended. Best for music as it was created for music. However I have watched iTunes movies and Netflix online and through my computer and the sound was superb. But I wouldn't buy it for that purpose until you somehow checked it out first for quality __maybe in a Best Buy store or the like.

• We don't recommend using this speaker connected wirelessly to a tv. There can be a delay between the audio and video which is very distracting. However, it does have a 3.5mm jack for a wired connection.
