QuestionAre these compatible with non apple products?Can I use them with a Samsung Galaxy S4/Android phone and or a Microsoft Zune mp3 player?

- Answer The SoundTrue Around-Ear headphones include an inline microphone and remote controls and are compatible with any device for audio playback. The microphone will work with a majority of smartphones, including the Samsung Galaxy though the volume controls are compatible only with certain Apple devices (such as iPhone). - Answer I've found them to be very effective with noise reduction. This was a major consideration with my purchase of headphones vs. any other portable headset device. This particular style of Bose headphones are exceptionally comfortable, too.

QuestionWhy does one believe wireless means (no wires),. ?wireless headphones operate without a wire, YES. Still need some form of a wire in order to set them up to function in desired purpose don't you think?? my phone is wireless still has a cord that makes it work

- Answer What they mean is that the wireless headphones connect to the phone via Bluetooth typically and send the music wirelessly through bluetooth. Many wireless headphones can still work with a standard 3.5mm audio plug to save battery.

- Answer The around ear designed completely covers your ear whereas the on ear design rests against your ear like a pillow.

- Answer Hello Bobbi. Great question. Most landline phones do not have the same 3.5mm connection that the headphones use, so you would not be able to use them with a landline phone. However, they will definitely work with an iPhone.

QuestionI bought these to use when flying. One reviewer said they cannot be used in the ports provided by the airlines as they may overheat. Is that true?I want to use these headphones to watch movies on airplanes. I saw one reviewer state that these could catch fire if plugged Into the port provided by the airline. Is this true? Are they safe to Use? This is my only use for the headphones

- Answer I've never heard of the regular headphones having that problem. Could they have meant the noise-cancelling ones? Call Bose. I have always found then to be very helpful plus these are warranted for a year.

- Answer Hi David. If your TV has a headphone output, you can definitely use your SoundTrue Around-Ear headphones for watching TV without disturbing anyone else by connecting the headphones directly to the TV's headphone output. Thanks!

QuestionFitment over hearing aidsHow will these work for a person who wears behind the ear hearing aids? The hearing aids pick up sound from the top of the unit behind the ears.

- Answer Unsure how big the hearing aids are. They should fit over or at least on the aids. The head phones aren't real large.
