Are these only compatible with Apple? Need to use for Galaxy tablet null

They are compatible with any device that has a audio jack output. That includes almost all cellphones and tablets, both android and apple. Computers as well.

these should work with any tablet with a 3.5mm socket for the plug. For example, my Kindle and my iPhone have the same socket and I use the same headphones with both.

The jack should work for any 3.5mm jack. However, I notice the in-line Volume buttons (-/+) may NOT work as it intended. Apple iPad 2 Air works great.

Most probably yes! Sorry to say that but the positioning of the contacts on 3.5 mm jack is different for apple and samsung. However the samsung's OEM earphones work with MacBook. So can't say. depends on the product. Might wanna go into a store and try and then buy the product if it works.
