“When you power on your tv will the sound bar turn or do you have to power it on separately?”

• If you use an HDMI cable to connect the Bose TV speaker to your TV HDMI (ARC) port it will work with your current remote for both power and volume control. If you use the provided optical audio cable as the connection it will not. This is clearly stated on the installation instructions.
