• A:Answer Only you can answer that. If you like Bose sound quality these will not disappoint. The open experience is a bit different but I find it to be fine. Comfort is superb. So for me, yes.

• A:Answer Yes, they can and even better- both buds have the physical button so you can pause/play from either bud. If you use them like this you kind of give up being able to control the volume level using the buds and one bud increases the volume while the other bud decreases the volume, but that’s kind of a minor annoyance IMO.

• A:Answer Because of the open-ear design, they cannot function as noise-cancelling earbuds. When you’re in noisy environments, they’re pretty much useless—even at the loudest volume. But, at the gym, they should work alright while still letting you hear your surroundings.
