• No. The soundbar is what transmits the Bluetooth signal. They can be used without the subwoofer but the soundbar is a necessity.

• I believe so, I use them with the sound bar but they are not worth the money. They are to be used as rear speakers and they are so low I had to move the right behind my couch just to hear any sound.
