Q: QuestionI am using Bose 301’s with my home theatre sound system. I would like to change to an in wall speaker. Can I wire the Bose Virtually Invisible 691 speakers into the system as the front speakers?
Asked by Bhfs300.
- A:Answer Hello Bhfs300, Thanks for the question. Yes, this should be possible depending on your receiver/amp and that it supports multiple zones. The power requirements for the VI 691 are 10-100 W per channel, 4-8 ohms. Please be aware you would need speaker wire and the appropriate gauge can be found in the owner's manual. Hope that helps. Q: QuestionWill these wall speakers work with my AV35 console? Basically I’m trying to make my entertainment system as wireless as possible and still utilize my bose system. (My pets and kids like to mess with them)
Asked by Dj80913.
- A:Answer Thank you for your interest in the Virtually Invisible 691 In-Wall Speakers, Dj80913. The AV35 media console is engineered specifically to work with its original speakers, and the 691's would not currently be compatible. Some customers have enjoyed this adapter from Best Buy: https://bit.ly/2xJahcv. This accessory is designed to eliminate some of your rear speaker wires for a more convenient setup. Q: QuestionI currently have an Acoustimass 10 5.1 surround sound system. Does Bose have any Invisible "In-Wall" speakers to replace the current 4 cube rear speakers "without" the need to re-wire to my receiver, instead of the current Bose wiring configuration?
Asked by Moonbeam.
- A:Answer Hello Moonbeam, Thanks for the question and we appreciate your interest in our Bose products. The Cube speakers that come with your Acoustimass 10 system cannot be mixed and match with any other Bose speakers. The Invisible In-Wall speakers also require a separate receiver.
