A:AnswerHello Bill, the Bose Wave SoundTouch IV and SA-5 are both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled systems, these systems would need connection to your wireless network to communicate with each other. If you are streaming via Bluetooth to one system (ex: WST IV) you can then rebroadcast that signal via Wi-Fi to another location (ex: SA-5). Thanks for the inquiry!
