“How wide does the clamp open? I have a wide table top and I'm worried that the clamp won't open wide enough to clamp onto it. ????”

• Ive attached it to my desk which I estimate is 1 1/4 inches wide. The clamp is strong but I dont know if I would push much past 1 1/4 inches.

• The clamp opens simply by squeezing it. The clamp spring is strong so you will have to squeeze it hard. The clamp will open approximately 1 1/8 " I removed the stand alone arm, It looks better without it. I hope this information is helpful.
