QuestionThe part that holds the phone. Does it only hold iPhones or can it hold any smartphone? I have a smartphone Samsung Galaxy A50 and its larger than some iphones.

- Answer I have an iPhone XS Max, which is slightly bigger than the A50, and my phone fits it. That said, the larger phones are heavier and need a little extra attention when positioning the phone so that it stays steady and doesn’t weigh down the arm holding the phone. So I guess size really isn’t all that important and sometimes bigger isn’t as Helpful. sorry couldnt resist...

QuestionI don't see a single photograph or comment that this can be used as an attachment to an LCD monitor so you can use it at your workstation. Can anyone answer if you can simply use this by attaching it to the side of a normal 23 in LCD monitor?

- Answer I don't think I would attach it to the monitor itself because the clamp is pretty strong, but I've clamped it on several desks to set the light just behind/above my monitor and it works great.

QuestionHow tall is the camera clamp stretched out?

- Answer 20 1/2 inches when stretched out. Then the light is another 3 1/2 inches. So it is very adjustable to the size of the screen. Works really well for my 17 inch laptop screen. Very happy with it!

QuestionHow wide does the clamp open? I have a wide table top and I'm worried that the clamp won't open wide enough to clamp onto it. ????

- Answer Ive attached it to my desk which I estimate is 1 1/4 inches wide. The clamp is strong but I dont know if I would push much past 1 1/4 inches.

- Answer Yes. I am an Episcopal priest and I use it to record my weekly YouTube videos for my congregation. The one issue is you need a power source for the light. It has a USB connection so if you have some where to plug it in; i.e. a computer, wall adapter or such you will be fine. Also, you can clamp it to a table or desk or pretty much anything that the clamp will fit on. That way it will remain steady.

- Answer You can turn on the lamp if you want to lighten up your subject. It’s not necessary to use the lamp when you’re using the hands-free clip

- Answer It's just a clamp that physically secures around the iPhone. You don't connect directly to the phone. It is powered via a USB-A connection either to a laptop or to a charger for usb-A

- Answer Not sure how many lumens (threw away the paperwork) but it’s extremely bright. It’s so bright that I have to turn it down to use it.
