Personally, I love the de-coupled B & W tweeter's accurate crisp highs, but they are not to everyone's taste. If your amp and/or receiver/pre-amp has tone controls decrease the treble control one notch incrementally until you reach your desired comfort listening level. you can also 'adjust' the speakers by toeing them in or at as needed to adjust the sound. and deflect the tweeters from direct impact in your listening area.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can offer you a few suggestions. First, if you've put the foam plugs that came with the speakers into the ports- remove them. Second, make sure they are in phase. Positive half of the speaker wire into the positive + terminal on the speaker, negative to the negative.
