I have recently purchased htm71 s2 to match with my 702 s2 front left and right. I set all of them to large with 60 hz crossover. They sound much more dynamic, powerful, and full than set as small. Moreover, they blend in real well with my SVS sub.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would set it as large for all speakers and crossover at 80Hz (THX level). These speakers have nice woofers and should be able to reproduce lower frequencies nicely. Anything below 80Hz can be handled by a subwoofer (or 2, ideally).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Large
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The experts recommend setting all speakers to small and the crossover to 80. I use the auto calibration system in my marantz to set up my speakers. If you need further help check out Audioholics and their setup guide for hometheater
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The speakers should be set to 'small' if you have a sub woofer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a good subwoofer, set ALL speakers to Small and use an 80 crossover frequency. If you have no subwoofer, set them to large. I highly recommend a good subwoofer. Check out YouTube which has tons of video on this setup.
