Is this camera truly waterproof? null

Yes it was the an 2' a snow and it rain and never had a problem with the camera

They say don’t take the car through a car wash if you have it installed. Rain seems to be OK.

So far so good. Just went through three days of moderate to heavy rain and works fine.

I would say yes. We have been getting lots of rain and it's still working!
