I bought this when sun shining and hot I think in April or may... worked great... weather turned cold and for 3 days it won’t hold grip... does it only work in summer ? null

Hi there Jim, thanks for your question. The TripGrip is designed to work year round. Please try rinsing off both the suction cup on the mount as well as the windshield / dashboard with water in order to ensure there is no residue blocking suction. It doesn’t matter what the weather is, it will still all of a sudden fall off, usually while you’re driving ! Mine fell off near the gas pedal, not safe !

I recommend cleaning the suction area with hand sanitizer. Leave some on it place it on the glass ( preferably when the sun is out) hold for approximately 30 to 60 seconds (until it’s not sliding) the sun/ warmth will do the rest. Be sure to lock in place to reinforce the suction.
