A:AnswerPress and hold the CLOCK button for 5 seconds. Afterwards, the hour value flashes, so press the SET button set incrementally until desired HOUR time is reached; then press CLOCK again until minutes flash and do the same thing; finish by pressing CLOCK once more and time will no longer flash and will be set.
A:AnswerI have not used the clean cycle yet, and from what I read in book, it will go off. I also went out to the Braun site, and you can use a 50/50 mixture of distilled white vinegar and water mixture to clean/descale when it needs It (this should be done about once a month). Run the 12 cup mixture through until it is at the 6 cup mark, then turn off machine and wait about an hour. Turn back on and hit brew and let it run the rest of the way through. You'll need to run a full pot or two of clean water through machine to rinse out the vinegar. This takes longer than buying the descaling mixture Braun sells, and it cost much much less, so I don't mind the extra time. Another buyer said that if light comes on too often, run a pot of clean water through, and light will go off until you are ready to clean/descale. We use a Culligan filter system under the sink, so water is already filtered and hope this will help keep it cleaner longer. The machine's water filter is also optional if using clean filtered water. Water from most taps has things in it you don't want to know about, so a nice water filter of some kind is recommended.
A:AnswerIf you have plenty of space to work above the unit (at lease 1-ft), and you fill it from the right container (not the carafe, maybe a narrower pitcher) you can do so pretty easily without spilling water. If, on the other hand, you have limited space it can be difficult to reach the back right corner of the unit where you need to fill. Also, if you use the carafe to fill it seems to spill a small percentage sometimes due to the angle at which you are forced to hold the carafe.
A:AnswerHi, this BrewSense Drip Coffee Maker comes with a gold-tone filter. If you would like to use disposable filters, we recommend using a #4 cone filter with this coffee maker. Thank you.
A:AnswerYou need to send this back to manufacturer or if you bought a Geek Squad replacement warranty, to your nearest Best Buy store because ours takes only about 10 minutes for an 8 cup pot of coffee.
A:AnswerI'm thinking it's an hour or less... never timed it (I will tomorrow and come back). If I notice it shut off before finishing the pot, I turn power back on. If it
shuts off when I wanted another cup and not patient to reheat in the pot, I microwave the cup.
A:AnswerI would turn if off, wash out the pot and go through the cycle of coffee, water, on and brew just like you did before. Once it has finished the brew cycle, it is finished. Green light flashes while brewing and turns steady green once done.
