We are sorry for the inconvenience, this could be troubleshooted by removing the charcoal filter from the tank, filling it halfway and pulling up and down repeatedly to push water into the machine. - Answer The manual says you do not need to use it but they recommend it. Hardness of water and chlorine content will determine filter life but we change it out every month.

- Answer I also have the LED problem. Clearly a manufacturing defect. E21 means descale. You may have to descale multiple times in a row. 50/50 vinegar to water the run water only cycles 3-4 times and wash all the parts so they don't smell of vinegar.
