A:AnswerPer the instructions, it is recommeneded to peel oranges and bananas before juicing. I have not had any left over pieces of fruits or vegetables trapped in the straining mesh. Everything I have juiced has been ground up and separated into its appropriate container (juice goes into the pitcher and ground up product goes into the collection conatiner).
This specific juicer does collect foam on top of the juice in the pitcher, but the pitcher included does help strain/separate that when pouring juice into your glass.
