Per the instructions, it is recommeneded to peel oranges and bananas before juicing. I have not had any left over pieces of fruits or vegetables trapped in the straining mesh. Everything I have juiced has been ground up and separated into its appropriate container (juice goes into the pitcher and ground up product goes into the collection conatiner). This specific juicer does collect foam on top of the juice in the pitcher, but the pitcher included does help strain/separate that when pouring juice into your glass.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Bananas, oranges, lemons, limes, etc still need peeled.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No,you can leave peels from fruits on, however except for bananas, I suggest you do not try to juice them,I tried and it was a mess, figured out this juicer is just that a jucier, if you. are going to make smoothies I would suggest a good blender for those types of drinks. As for waste, depends on what you are jucing. In the mesh basket hardly nothing, but in the waste part, just depends on foods. It does reduce veggies and fruit to fine waste, example like carrots grind up to a fine substance that works perfect to use in recipes! Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We do not peel the oranges when using our Breville. We have not used bananas. We use carrots, oranges, beets, pears, apples. The Breville makes a very good amount of juice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It would be best to peel the oranges depending if you like the tast of the peel, including lemons and grapefruit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A little common sense goes along way. Not much juice in a banana, and yes, most fruits and veggies need to be peeled. The product information and online manual is very helpful.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.my sources say citrus should be peeled, but the pith is fine to juice, and I would not place the entire banana in the machine. we peel carrots, ginger, and beets because many of these have skin that seems to cause the juice to taste more bitter, in our opinion. we know folks that choose not to peel carrots and beets though, just clean well before juicing. there is a great deal of fiber trapped, we only desire the juice. we do not waste any part of the fiber by placing this in to our worm composter where organic compost is created to feed our garden.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First of all, don't juice bananas. They gum up everything. Leave those for your blender when you make smoothies. Take the skins off of citrus. It's too much work for the motor. When you buy the $$$$ model you can dump everything in. The fibrous parts of fruits and vegetables are separated out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thick skinned fruits have to be removed ( oranges, watermelon etc.) You can't juice a banana. Not much waste never have hardly anything left in mesh strainer. If you compose that would be good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you need to peeled fruits and vegetables all the time.
