I have not tried it. However it pulverizes ginger easily. It seems to have a capable motor. i would recommend cutting the sugar cane into small pieces.

Yes. Just peel the tough outer skin. Remove the hard joints. Cut in half (crosswise) and cut into quarters (lengthwise). Strain the juice before consume.
