“why does the 860 go into the preheat mode again when i remove the pan to turn food over?”

• Small oven and large door ..when door is opened heat escapes and temp drops. Oven automatically starts reheat to bring oven back up to temp. Same thing happens in your regular oven..you just don't see lighting change to alert you.
