First year you are completely covered. After that use a CC that gives you an extended warranty when you purchase this unit.

The question was not answered directly, but the following reply was received: "Thank you for contacting Breville support. Breville consistently makes updates on all our of products to meet our customers needs and expectations. We are not provided the specific updates they make on all products, but we do service all our units out of warranty. The oven should be on a its own dedicated 20 AMP circuit, it should not be shared with other appliances. Please let me know if you have any questions." I would be curious to know if Customers who have been very pleased with the operation of the Model BOV845BSS are using this appliance on a dedicated 20 AMP circuit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We've had our toaster oven 7 months now and not experienced any problems. And we use ours throughout the day, practically every day. Yours sounds defective. Do call their customer service.... I'm sure they will quickly resolve/replace. Good luck!
