“Has the display gone out? How is the toast time? I do not like my toast lightly toasted and I have found some toaster ovens do not really toast without toasting multiple times.”

We haven't had any issues with the display, nor have I heard of that being a problem. Toast has several settings, I have never needed to re-toast anything.

It is designed to be illuminated for a few minutes during and after the controls are initiated. This is a great feature. In terms of the toasting "creativity", you are able to adjust to your desired toasting time very quickly and precisely. The control is through a menu-driven knob, which allows you to scroll through various cooking options (toast, broil, bake, pizza, etc). The timer is not one of those typical spring-loaded levers or knobs, it is an actual computer controlled clock. Excellent design!

This toaster oven has an excellent toasting range. The center setting (default) for toast results in reasonably toasted bread. I set mine to the next dot over towards 'Dark' that results in perfect toast. There are 3 additional dots above this setting, so you can literally have burnt toast on the first shot if that is your preference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I like my toast a bit dark. Number 5 setting for two slices makes it perfect and evenly on both sides. Not hard and burnt like most other toaster ovens. I promise this is the best oven ever!!! It's worth the money.
