• The Breville® BES500 Bambino™ Plus is not designed to use pods and has no filter designed for Espresso Pod use.

• Absolutely not. This is a real espresso maker. Your next most important purchase is a coffee bean grinder. I would not even use pre-ground coffee with this machine although I suppose you can but if that's what you want to do there are cheaper, less complex methods of making coffee. This machine makes high-end Italian cafe style espresso. It is not a mere coffee maker.
