• Just pull a double-shot of expresso and then add 6oz. of steaming water. That makes and Americano and will be the best cup of coffee(IMHO)

• This will not make a cup of brewed drip coffee. Drip coffee is created with gravity, whereas expresso is created with pressure. With this machine you can create an Americano, whereby you add hot water to a single or double shot of espresso, thus creating a drink similar to a cup of brewed coffee.

• No, the Breville® BES500 Bambino™ Plus will brew espresso and steam and froth milk. However, adding hot water to the espresso shots will allow you to make an Americano.
