Customers recognize the Bambino Plus Espresso Machine as a great entry-level option, highlighting its ease of use and the milk frother's ability to make excellent cappuccinos. Its compact size with a large water tank is appreciated, along with its quick heating speed. However, some users find the machine a little too lightweight and mention that the descaling and cleaning notifications cannot be bypassed.

I absolutely LOVE my Breville Bambino Plus. I was on the fence because of the price but I needed to stop going to the local coffee shop in an attempt to save some money in the long run. BOYYYYY was I in for a treat. If you're questioning this and can afford it, just buy it and thank me later.
I did some research and used some reddit threads to help me figure out which one to get - I didn't get the one that has the grinder because I previously bought the OXO Burr Grinder that got great reviews and works well. I also read that the Breville with the grinder attached isn't that great and it's better to have the grinder & coffee machine seperate.

If you are transitioning from a Keurig/Nespresso type of machine to this, be prepared for a huge learning curve. This machine is meant for people that want to dedicate the time to being precise to create quality coffee. I also had to spend an extra $150 on accessories that did not come with the machine to help with assisting making good espresso. I also now have to budget an extra $300 for a new coffee grinder. If you are willing to make that commitment then this is a GREAT starter espresso machine. If not, I would advise looking at a more automatic machine. For Breville, I would love to see a calibrated tamp included instead of a plastic one, along with an all stainless steel portafilter. The one it comes with has plastic, which for the cost is disappointing.

Think you need the bigger, more expensive breville espresso machine? Think again. This is all the machine you need. If you buy pre-ground coffee (e.g., illy), just use the pressurized basket. If you want to grind your own coffee, you'll want to buy a separate grinder anyway. The milk frother is stupidly easy to use, which makes lattes a breeze. This machine is the perfect blend of being hands-on and being easy to use. You'll make better coffee than the majority of coffee shops and save a pretty penny doing so (peep my iced americano below).

I’m absolutely impressed with this coffee maker. From the very first use, I noticed a big difference in flavor and espresso texture compared to other brands. The design is sleek, takes up little space, and is super easy to use—even for beginners. The pressure it generates is just right for a rich extraction, and the milk frothing feature creates a creamy texture just like a real coffee shop. I can’t start my day without it!

We purchased Bambino Plus after comparing with Barista Express/Pro. Deciding factor was footprint and quick start. Fast forward few days, we received Bambino Plus and we were amazed by its performance from tiny package. Water really heats up in 3seconds, and auto frothing is much better than I was expecting. I also tested manual frothing, it works but not best experience as the nozzle locks at awkward angle. So I settled with auto and satisfied so far. We drink few cups of lattes everyday since then and it’s working great.
Bambino Plus doesn’t have grinder hence we buy ground coffee but thinking about investing in grinder. Breville’s single wall filters are completely sold out as of writing this review, just in case you are looking for upgrade.
Oh BTW there are complaints about difficulty inserting portafilter and that’s true right after you turn system on. Just dispense a cup or two hot water. It somehow opens up receiver side and then easy to insert, also this action cleans up coffee from previous use x)

Amazing Espresso Machine by Breville! It's super easy to use, bought one for my girlfriend's house originally so we could make our lattes together but I loved it so much I got one for myself. We are not the best at latte art yet, but we are getting there!
It takes about 10 minutes or less to make a latte in the morning which isn't bad. Make sure to buy syrup and add it first in your cup!

My wife loves it and it saves us a ton of money!
Once you get it running, it’s easy from there on out.
Highly recommend the smart grinder from them if you have the budget.

It has been functional OK, except that there is water leaking under the drip tray for making every shot. I googled this issue and found that there have been complaints about this issue starting five to six years ago. To my surprise, this problem was not addressed for so long. I am thinking to return this product.
The machine is designed to purge into the drip tray when it's turned on and after each function. If it is leaking onto the counter, please file a new Case through this Breville web link https://mybreville.force.com/BrevilleCustomerCommunity/s/?language=en_US®ion=us&brand=breville with a subject line of BV250106BBMR-2. Also, make sure to add your contact details with phone and email and I will make sure to follow up personally.

This is a great machine, takes up little counter space and pulls wonderful shots. The automatic frothing works great and makes multi tasking a breeze. The 3 second warm up also makes it so you can have a fresh latte in 2-3 minutes.

Bought this as a gift for my coffee loving wife. Could not have been a better purchase. It's easy to use, though, I would suggest watching a few videos to get it set up. It makes great espresso and with the auto temp, auto foaming steam wand we are making shop quality drinks. I don't really have any other products to compare it to, but I would buy this again.

Perfectly compact with the BEST lattes. I love that you can choose how warm to make the milk because I love mine super hot!! The frother works great and it’s all relatively easy to use after reading instructions.

All features I liked the larger Breville is compacted into this smaller one. Only thing is I wish there were more than 3 milk temperature setting - not temperature settings - only choice is low, med, high. But makes a great latte.

It’s been a lovely road to learn to use this small machine. It’s fast. Frothing is good. Not as difficult s as we though. The kids love each time we try to do some latte art.

This machine is solid. Heats up fast, pulls a clean shot, and the milk frother is actually good—not some weak steamer. You do need a decent grinder to get the best out of it, but when it's dialed in, the espresso hits. It’s compact, easy to clean, and doesn’t feel cheap. Not a “wow my life is changed” machine, but definitely one of the best “I just want good coffee at home without stress” options. No regrets so far.

I’ve been using the Breville Bambino Plus for a few weeks now, and it’s been fantastic. It heats up in seconds, pulls consistently rich espresso shots, and the 15 bars of pressure really make a difference in flavor and crema. The milk frother is easy to use and produces café-quality microfoam — perfect for lattes and cappuccinos. The stainless steel design looks sleek on the counter, and cleanup is simple. It’s compact, powerful, and makes getting a great cup of coffee at home effortless. Highly recommend it!

Excellent build quality and coffee making capability. Wish the interface (the button controls) was more straightforward as a lot of the functions are "hidden" behind pressing button combos which is less than ideal than having a dedicated control. A pricey upgrade over the regular Bambino but perhaps worth it for the 3 way solenoid (helps dry out the puck). Also has auto milk frother which is good if you don't know how to foam milk (it's not that hard so I could do without this feature).
