“How many heating bars does it have?”

• The Best Buy website says this is a 15 bar machine. Actually it is only 9. Buyer beware.

• If you look on the official Breville page for both the Bambino and the Bambino Plus, it states emphatically that they both are designed for 9 bars of pressure as that is optimal.

• The Breville® BES500 Bambino™ does not use any type of Bar measure for heat.

• If you're referring to bars of pressure used to pull shots, it uses a standard 9 bars of pressure and does back-flush into the drip-try after pulling.

• According to specs, this produces 15 Bars of pressure - not the 9 suggested in another answer. I assume it is pressure you are looking for, and not the method/measure of heat.
