That was a big problem when I was trying to pick out which one I wanted. When I looked at the black truffle one, it definitely was a very cheap looking plastic. The stainless steel definitely feels more durable and better quality. Most components are stainless steel with maybe some plastic parts here and there. But overall, great quality and I would absolutely get another one.
