Yes, the Breville® BES878 Barista Pro™ will make a double shot of expresso at one time. A single shot cup can be placed beneath each of the spouts of the portafilter that will allow two single shots to be made at once but not two double shots.

If you want 2 single-shot cups (press double shot button) or 2 half-shot cups (press single shot button) then yes. When the espresso comes out of filter base, it flows out of both nozzles. You could put 2 small cups side by side.
