- Answer I believe it reaches 15 bars of pressure. It pre-infuses at a lower pressure. I've been using mine daily for the past two months to make an average of three double shots. I've been very satisfied.

- Answer 9 bars is correct for making espresso but the pump is capable of 15 bars.
