“Does it need 8 inch's space behind it as well? I have room on the sides and above just not behind. I saw the other answer saying all sides but wanted to clarify to be certain. Thank you”

• That's what the owner's manual says, but i backed it right up to my ceramic backsplash with no problems. It sits in the same place my smart oven sat backed to the wall as well for 3 years with no issues. I think it's just out of an abundance of caution.
