• Yes. The Smooth Wave requires a minimum of 4 inches on all sides and 8 inches over head of clear space, according to the Instruction Book that came with it.

• For the BMO850 Smooth Wave, a minimum clearance of 4 inches (10cm) is required between the microwave and any adjacent walls. Also, leave a minimum clearance 8 inches (20cm) above the microwave.
