“Why isn't the clock LCD on the 1.2 cf and why does the screen go so dark that it is impossible to see the clock? The smaller oven has a nice bright LCD clock that stays on all the time. What gives?”

Yes the clock is useless you cannot see it. On the compact wave it is illuminated so you can see it. It does not go dark in standby mode.

What’s point of having a clock that you can only see while the microwave is cooking? Nice oven I guess, lots of bells and whistles but now I need to buy a clock that I can see while the microwave isn’t being used. Don’t think I’ll buy a Breville clock.
