“Why isn't the clock LCD on the 1.2 cf and why does the screen go so dark that it is impossible to see the clock? The smaller oven has a nice bright LCD clock that stays on all the time. What gives?”

• Yes the clock is useless you cannot see it. On the compact wave it is illuminated so you can see it. It does not go dark in standby mode.

• This is the only microwave I’ve ever seen that doesn’t have a clock that illuminates 24/7. What’s point of having a clock that you can only see while the microwave is cooking? Nice oven I guess, lots of bells and whistles but now I need to buy a clock that I can see while the microwave isn’t being used. Don’t think I’ll buy a Breville clock.
