No. The lid is permanently attached via a hinge on an oil dampened slow opening geared mechanism. The size of the opening is more than adequate for just about any "normal" faucet spigot.

It is easy to fill. You push a button and the lid slowly opens. It doesn’t come off to fill.

The lid does not come off, but pressing the button at the top of the handle opens the lid. The pot is then very easy to fill.

No it flips up and is easy to fill.
