Purchased this to replace a competitor's temperature controlled tea kettle that had broken. It is a quality product. Pro's: - can set temperature - solidly built - heats water fast & quietly Only One Con: Why does it beep so much? It beeps when the water is hot -- that's good. But what's the point of beeping when . . . - the kettle is lifted off the base. (I know that; it's in my hand) - the kettle is put back on the base. (Again, it's in my hand) - change the water temp setting. (There's a visual light to tell me that) - start the kettle. (Again, the light changes color to tell me that) The beeps are moderately loud, so if you are using this in a quiet setting it may be annoying. Breville should at least allow one to turn off the beeps.

I've had this Breville kettle for about a month now, and I am extremely happy with the purchase. It boils water very quickly and the temperature settings are a great convenience, as I love green and white tea and my husband only drinks black. I set the temperature for green, pour water for my tea, then put the pot back and set it for black. A few seconds later it's ready. My only complaint is that it beeps too often, as every time you remove it from the base or put it back, it lets you know! A beep when it reaches the set temperature would be enough. But that is a minor distraction and I hardly notice it anymore. All in all, a great kettle that I highly recommend. I only hope it lasts forever!

Great kettle. Solid build. Different temps is nice. Looks nice. A little loud for some reason. Wish it had WiFi! Bought a second one for my parents.

Wife still uses it still to this very day, hasn’t been an issues. Does get gross after awhile with lime scale built up from hard water, just use vinegar to dissolve it and rinse.

I used an electric kettle last summer at my cousin's home. I decided to purchase this one since it has a selection of temperatures and is in the price range I wanted to spend. The water is heated quickly and being able to select a lower temperature than boiling is excellent for Green Tea. The selections indicate what type of Tea is used for the temperature as well. I am very happy with this product.

The kettle works really fast in heating up water. The temperature can be selected based on your beverage choice. The only inconvenience is the amount of noise the kettle makes. There is a beep for just about anything you do. Take it off the heater - a beep. change the setting - a beep. put back on heater - a beep.

Saw one of this at a condo on vacation. Purchased this one because the reviews were great and the price was competitive at Best Buy. Wife loves the quality and it performs as expected. Very good product.

I wanted an electric kettle with variable temperatures because sometimes I like green tea (lower temp) and sometimes I like black tea (higher temp). This kettle holds 7 cups and keeps your water around the desired temperature for 20 minutes at the press of a button. The plug is also easy to remove because its design lets you put a finger in the middle of it. It's a pretty cool design. I 've stopped using the microwave for tea when I work from home.

The purpose of a kettle is to heat water, and this kettle does it quickly. I use the hot water for brewing loose tea and am glad that this unit has the ability to select different water temperatures for green and black teas (as well as other types). My wife is happy that the old whistling stove-top kettle is gone, replaced by gentle beep when the water is fully hot. The fill window is easy to read. So far, no odor or discoloration.

It is easy to setup and does what it's supposed to. Heats up water very quickly.

It makes hot water of varying temperatures. From that you can make coffee or tea or cocoa or other things with specific temperatures. It's basic but very effective and worth the money.

It heats up my water so...quick and hot enough for my ramen noodles, tea or coffee. Definitely a 5 stars product. But it is a bit on the expensive side.

Bought this on more of an impulse buy while in the store. So glad I did, I use it everyday for oatmeal in the morning and my wife and kids use it for tea. The different temperature settings are very convenient. It is also a very clean piece of equipment that looks great staying out on the counter.

This kettle boils water in less than 5 minutes and then maintains the water at a desired temperature.

The various settings are ideal for boiling water to the perfect temperature.

This is the best teapot out there. Temperature controls are excellent!
