“Can the perforated plate the grounds sit in be removed from the funnel for cleaning or is that chamber inaccessible for cleaning and inspection? Also does the pot the finished coffee sits in have a flat bottom or does it have a narrow deep groove?”

• The perforated plate is pretty much fixed to the funnel. The bottom of the top part is flat.
