“We are replacing an under cabinet range hood that is not vented. Can this hood be installed ventless?”

• Yes. We just replaced this few weeks ago. IT IS VENTED OR VENTLESS... You just remove little metal panel covers off top with a screwdriver. New design that hangs out slightly past edge of cabinet to vent without duct venting. The electrician thought we were wrong & it was only for outside vented until we called the store because the instructions didn't show to remove the little metal plate covers. Very simple, took less than a minute to take off.
