• The ADS1200 can scan multiple documents as a single PDF and separate PDF but not a the same time.

• I have found no way that I can scan multiple documents into one pdf file with this scanner. As another buyer said, all images are scanned as separate documents making it a pain to file in a folder. Have tried all options on the Brothers Support site, but nothing works. This scanner replaces on older one that quit working. That one scanned everything in PDF. Can't figure out why this newer one doesn't.

• Biggest Drawback of this Scanner. See my Review. Scans documents as individual image files, not pdf files. You will have to convert each image file to pdf format first, and then combine all the pdf files using Foxit or Acrobat (full version, not just Acrobat Reader).
