“How well does this scanner work for scanning in photos of varying size, age & thickness? Can the dpi be set to 1200 once when scanning multiple photos or does it have to be re-set for every photo scanned? Thanks in advance for a response.”

very well but the align feature is not the best so you might be better off with a flat scanner. Thickness is good since I have scan ID and thicker documents then an ID
