- Answer You have to set the quality manually before making the copies....I haven't found how to make it permanent but if you set it up before you start, it should work.

- Answer Go to the brother-usa site and choose the support option. The online manual for this printer has detailed information for changing the toner and cleaning the wire. The download manual does not have enough detail so view the online version.

QuestionWhen you send it a print job from an iPhone or iPad, does it wake up automatically or do you have to manually press a button to wake it up? Our printer is upstairs and it's a pain to go upstairs and turn it on every time I want to print something.

- Answer Yes you can. Save yourself some time though. The directions say to download from their website. Forget that. Just go to the app store on your phone and find Brother Print and Scan app. Download that. It's free. Works great. I can print from any room the house.

- Answer I did not use the CD at all. It worked without doing anything (Windows 10), but I went online and downloaded the software package and installed it. Works great, no issues.
