- Answer Yes, the checks can be entered singularly using the manual feed on the front or multiple checks can be loaded into the paper tray.

- Answer Envelope can be entered singularly using the manual feed on the front or you can remove the paper from the print tray and change the guides to position the envelopes. Envelopes should be placed in tray face down with the flap to the right. You can check the layout in the manual.

QuestionIs this a stand alone copier , for example: can I just plug power cord to wall and print documents? also, do i need/can I use a usb cable if I want to connect directly to commuter if don't want to use the wireless feature?

- Answer Yes, you can make copies through the printer without using the computer. Also, you will have a choice to either configure your printer as wireless or with a printer USB cable.

- Answer This printer gives you the option of using toner saver mode (less toner and lighter copies) or regular toner (more toner and darker copies.) You can easily turn this on or off in the settings feature.

QuestionDoes this scan photos?Does this printer scan photos (i.e. 3x5 or 5x7 color prints). I see that it scans documents but can't tell if photos would work too or if it's only stuff that can go through an automatic document feeder.

- Answer Yes, it scans in color. Also, the display photos don't show that the feeder lifts up revealing a glass to manually scan.

- Answer this printer has only one tray, however the page size (length) is determined by the printer, and should call for you to load the correct paper.
