• No, the scanned images go either to the mobile or to the PC.

• Yes, it holds the images on an SD card until you wish to transfer them to your phone or PC. It comes with a 4g card, but can take up to an 8g card. I use an 8g, and scan dozens of docs weekly, both JPEG and PDF, and only use a fraction of the SD card space by the time I get around to transering to my computer hard drive, which is usually 3 months because I constantly travel for work.
