• The printer is set to single side printing. You can set it to duplex at any time.

• Yes, you can print just one side. You will be given the choice at the print screen on your computer.

• Like all duplexing printers I've ever used, this one allows you to choose between single sided or double sided output. The default is single sided printing...you check a box on preferences to print both sides when that is desired.
