“I have this HL-L2320D Brother printer and will be moving and need to know if I need to put the printer in a box sitting down like on a printer table or if I can turn it on its side to pack and I will be taking out the drum and toner first”

I have moved several times and found it is always best to keep the printers 'sitting down' as if they are on a desktop. Whenever possible I like to put the original packing back in place as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, remove the cartridge with toner (it comes out as one unit). The printer itself does not have any loose parts, although I am not a professional. But, logically, I can't imagine anything moving or falling off, unless you drive over logs often :)
