• YES. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE APP. AND YOU ARE READY TO PRINT. BEFORE YOU HAVE TO SET THE PRINTER ON WIRELESS. (WIFI)

• Yes. You do not have to have a computer. It would be helpful if you took the time and trouble to setup an account with Apple (called an Apple ID). That would be all you would really need. I don't think you could do without an Apple ID because you wouldn't be able to install any apps other than what the iPad comes with.
