• The instructions offer several means of installation. Yes, you can install with a cable, either Ethernet or USB printer cable, but the printer comes with neither. You'll have to buy separately or supply your own.

• Dear Nyigee; Yes, it does install with cables. It uses USB and Ethernet as two physical ways to connect (your choice, of course). Follow the instructions when installing the software. It will ask you how you want to connect. Should be no problem. Good luck.
