• remove the cartridge and shake it. I have done this and it workes

• Pull out the toner, hold firmly in one hand by the "handle" (in the same position it sits in the printer) and tap the other side gently a few times with the palm of your your hand. Replace it into the printer. This will distribute remaining toner. DO NOT "SHAKE FOR A FEW MINUTES", as someone suggested, you'll have a mess and will most likely damage the toner. You'll also transfer that mess into the printer and cause future problems. A few gentle taps side to side is all it takes.

• Lower the quality of the print jobs so it uses less toner.

• When it starts to get low take it out and shake it side to side for a couple minutes.
