• Printers generally do not Include USB or Ethernet cables. Be sure to measure the distance the cable will be to reach the printer with a little slack. USB comes in 3 to 25 foot lengths. Longer than that you should consider wireless or Ethernet with a router or switch.

• No, but I just used the cord I had from an earlier printer for the initial setup, now everything is done by wifi once setup. Apparently, you can set up by wifi initially but it makes for a lot smoother setup if connected by cable to your machine. I used a windows 10 computer for setup but after I finished it could talk happily to my mac pro laptop, my wifes air laptop both our iphones. My iPad 5 and her iPad 2.
